So after a lot of trial and error I found out that the website I work on tends to have a janky scroll to it and tends to skip sections on chrome and edge.
After downloading Firefox and checking there, all seems fine there? What could the issue be?

Chrome and Edge, even Safari (mac), are based on Chromium. I’d target your bug inquiry to those Chromium-based browsers. Also, depending what theme you’re running, check to see if there’s a “Smooth Scroll” setting anywhere. If so, disable it and see if you still have the same issue.
