WordPress site with multiple languages (wp.com/de/home)

Hi there,

so i am currently making my first wordpress website with Elementor for a friends company. They need the website in atleast 2 if not 3 languages.

So i was wondering how to do it in wordpress/elementor.

My first guess at this was to just make 3 menues and footers, one for each language and than duplicate all pages twice and translate them and link everything and just give the pages different endings like home\_de or something.

I ve also seen plugins that just translate tthe whole page but these are not an option for me because what i also need is for each language to be sending to a different email when you fill the form, and a different phone number displayed on the site.

So the first method seems the most probable. Now if i do that its just gonna display the different pagetitles but i was wondering how is it done that a website has an address structure like wp.de/de/home, wp.de/en/home like the different languages are in a directory of their own? I m pretty new to wordpress and i tried kinda googling this but didnt find exactly what i needed.

Hope someone can help me with that or maybe there is a plugin, function in wp that i dont know about?
