Hi folks,
I just recently purchased a custom domain for myself, but the company I currently host my website on, Wix, jacks up the monthly price considerably if I want to connect said domain to it. I’ve been looking at moving to WordPress, but I’d like to know what the pricing would look like. I’d go with the Starter plan, as my site needs are basic, and it says it’s $4 per month ($48 billed annually before taxes). Am I able to connect my already-owned domain to that for no additional cost? I guess I’m mainly wondering if the price will actually STAY $48 annually or if it’s going to get hiked after the first year. Any insight is appreciated. Thank you!

The price *could* go up, there’s no crystal ball. I’d expect it to be the same or less than whatever the new user price is next year.
I think you will have to pay, extra 13$ each year for connecting your domain with wordpress com
You can purchase a hosting plan and install wordpress org instead
