WordPress Themes Not Working

[ad_1]

Howdy!

I hope this is the right place to post this question/problem. Here’s a little background on the issue my WordPress website is having. I use Astra for my website’s appearance (a marketing team built my website for me).

I use GoDaddy as my hosting service. Last year I changed my web address and GoDaddy walked me through making sure the website updated correctly, which it did except for two problems. First, I can no longer make any customizations to my website. Whenever I click on “Customize”, I’m taken back to my website with a message that says “This page doesn’t seem to exist. It looks like the link pointing here was faulty. Maybe try searching?”. The other problem I have is the marketing team who built my website included a floating button that takes people to my booking calendar. There are also stationary buttons, which work fine, but if anyone clicks on the the floating button, you get “HTTP Status: 404 (not found)”.

Is there anyway I can fix this myself? Thank you in advance for your time and sharing your knowledge with me.

  1. What are the URLs on these buttons you’re clicking, and are they pointing at the new correct domain that you purchased?

You’ll need to find these remaining faulty URLs and update them to the new domain.

I think there’s a plugin you can install, WordPress URL Rewrite, something like that. Searches your WordPress database for any instance of the old domain and replaces with the new domain.

Should research into available plugins for fixing the domain references.

    Try this plugin:
