I am to know about user registration / authentication in WordPress. I am working on a E-comm website, and in my research, it is not a good idea to use default user registration / authentication because of getting spam account. Thus, I chose to use Ultimate Member plugin.
At this point, I got curious that the purpose of using Ultimate Member because it is kind of tricky to style the pages and components in Ultimate Member. It is seemingly not possible to style them with Elementor.
Meanwhile, I looked at the Ultimate Member dashboard at the C-panel, it seems user data are stored in the same data attribute as WordPress default user data attribute. (I thought UM would make its own data attribute, tables and all of that.)
So, my question is this. The sole purpose of using UM for my website is to separate the user registration and login endpoint from wordpress admin login endpoint, is it okay to use only login and registration from UM, and then use Elementor widgets to style other related pages like 'my account' or 'checkout' pages?
All these are my speculation observing behavior of WordPress, so if I am wrong, please correct me.
