I’m making an affiliate marketing blog for my business that advises PC gaming novices on the best PCs to buy. The main revenue comes from a survey that links to a recommended PC (say from Amazon, BestBuy) and I take a commission. The blog is to generate traffic.
The plan is to stay with this affiliate marketing model for now but I want to leave the door open to start an actual e-commerce site where I sell the PCs as a retailer and don’t want to do the work over again.
Is WordPress or Shopify better for my business?

WordPress. If you care about speed, try out other page builders or use Gutenberg and maybe a block plugin like Kadence pro. GeneratePress Pro is a great theme.
WordPress. You would use Shopify if your plan were to sell things right out of the gate. Shopify really isn’t a CMS.
