When an employer attempts to post a job, the listing doesn’t immediately go live; instead, it enters a pending payment status. This behavior has been observed while utilizing the WC Paid Listings addon on my website.
During my testing, I used a 100% coupon for the package, but the job didn’t become published. To successfully post the job, I had to follow these steps:
- Click the “Post a job” button once again.
- The system displayed an indication that I was editing an existing job.
- I clicked on the “Preview” option.
- Next, I selected the “Choose a package” button.
- From the available packages, I selected the one I had just made payment for.
- Finally, I clicked the “Submit” button.
Despite completing these steps, the job listing still didn’t show as published. Instead, the page kept loading indefinitely until a server error was displayed. Interestingly, upon visiting the job listing page or the homepage, the posted job was visible, indicating a successful posting process.

Resolved it by unchecking Allow Pending Edits on job submission settings.
