Hey guys, I have an ‘okay’ understanding with WordPress cPanel etc. The previous web designer has sent me a zipped file containing a wp-content folder with updates to our pages that he says are all ‘completed’.
I have uploaded the Zip from file manager and extracted the folder and removed the old wp-content folder(I made a backup incase) and replaced it with the new one.
No updates to the home page or other said pages have been made, I can see that some plugins have changed. These updates were meant to take place a while back but in that time I have made no major changes to the site.
I’m abit stuck and not sure if I’m missing something. Any help is appreciated!

The wp-content folder contains things like images, plugins, and theme files.
Site content like posts, pages, settings, and layouts are all stored in the database and would not be included in that zip.
What sort of changes were intended to be included in the file?
