Has anyone used this combination on their wordpress site before? Is it good?
Also, does cloudflare affect wordpress dashboard speed as well or just the site?
My website speed is pretty fast but for some reason the wordpress dashboard is getting slow since the past few days. I’m on dreamhost’s VPS and talked to customer care they suggested using Cloudflare.
Not sure if that would affect dashboard speed. Hopefully can find some guidance here.

If the wp dashboard is slow that could be for reasons that those two layers of caching will be ill-equipped to improve.
Most common culprit is a third party plugin with lots of related tables that are polled on a dashboard or post index page within the admin dashboard.
Good example is a very populated woocommerce site with lots of products and variations and perhaps extensions / addon to exponentially make those queries heavier.
You can mitigate this by adjusting the items that are included as widgets in the dashboard, the number of items per page (pagination) and perhaps looking into a better host as resource allocation comes into play.
