Okay, so I have been using Plesk for years and I highly recommend it to anyone who hates or sucks at SSH/Linux command line administration. I fall under both categories.
Anyway, I have an e-commerce WP site on an AWS server (running Plesk). I have no problem backing up and restoring from backup. My question is whether restoring from the backup, from the Plesk dashboard, will overwrite the database tables that contain the e-commerce transactions. If I restore from yesterday’s backup, will I lose the transactions between the backup point and now? Is there a way to prevent this?
