WP SITE HOSTED WITH NAS?

[ad_1]

I just inherited a Woo site that has about 30 plugins, OLD files from MS FrontPage, etc. and hasn’t been updated or backed up in years. The original dev has gone off air. Here’s the down and dirty:

I have been using the pro version of Akeeba backup for years and love it. I installed the free version and went to their **cPanel file manager (as well as FTP)** to download the backup and … the plugin wasn’t listed in the plugin folder! It is available in the wp admin tho. Searched and could not find the backup or Akeeba plugin anywhere.

I then launched Akeeba from the WP admin dashboard and went to the option to choose where I wanted the backup to be stored, it has a sort of file manager to choose the location of where the backup is stored; and this is what it looked like:

**/nas/**content/live/”Name-of DOMAIN”1/wpcontent/plugins/akeebawp/app/backups – My quotes.

There is no “NAS” directory visible either in cPanel or via ftp.

I was able to DL the backup via my browser thru the Akeeba menu via the dashboard after setting some config options.

Do you think the original dev has the site via something like Synology?

I disabled his admin creds.
