WP Staging to Existing GoDaddy Website and Domain

[ad_1]

I created a new website for my business but have a website that is live and built of GoDaddy already. I want to move the site on WordPress.com staging to the existing domain.

What I've already done:

Are there any resources or guides on what I should do next to have the domain point to the new website on WordPress.com rather than on GoDaddy?

EDIT: clarified it's WordPress.com instead of WP

  1. Looks like you’ve got most of the setup done! Next, you’ll want to copy the new site from staging to live. Most WordPress hosts have a simple “Push to Live” feature for staging. If you’re not sure how to do that with your current host, they should have a guide on it.

Also, just make sure your DNS is fully propagated (it can take up to 48 hours). After that, your domain should point to the new WP site.

On a side note, if you ever look for a hosting upgrade in the future, **Cloudways** has some solid staging tools to make this kind of stuff super easy!
