WP Studio > cPanel migration: DB compatibility?

Hi folks

I’m teaching an intro to WordPress course for teenagers/graphic design students this semester. We are using WP Studio as the local development environment because of its overall ease of use and cross-platform compatibility.

Each student has access to a cPanel hosted site for their final site.

Question:

• Will backup plugins like All in One WP Migration or Updraft seamlessly manage going from SQLlite to MySQL?

• What’s the easiest way to convert the WP Studio db to MySQL?

I’ve been googling, but details on WP Studio and its support is still slim at this point in time.

Ease of use is really important as this isn’t a tech savvy clientele. They’re visual designers, not computer science students.
