To be frank, I’m totally new here. Not sure if I can ask a plugin related question here. Anyways, here is the issue:
I’ve been assigned to modify a WP website that’s been developed by someone else a few years back. It’s built using WPBakery page builder. I was able to tweak the settings of the homepage using the WPBakery visual editor. Now, today, after I logged in to the dashboard and tried to edit a page, the WPBakery visual editor is no longer showing. I mean, not even the option to switch between classic editor and backend editor is there. Instead, all I can see is some random code which can only be interpreted by WPBakery, I guess. The website is intact, thankfully. I tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin. Didn’t help. Now, I can neither edit existing pages not can I create new pages using it. It’s like the plugin totally vanished (It’s still there in the toolbar, though). Has anyone gone through the same problem? It would be a huge help if someone could help. Thanks in advance.
