I'm having an issue with Yoast SEO breadcrumbs in my WordPress setup. I've integrated the breadcrumbs into my site using a shortcode within Elementor, and all of my parent pages are set up correctly. However, the breadcrumbs still seem to be ignoring intermediate pages between the home page and the current page.
For example, for a URL like:
SITENAME.local/departments/marketing/
The breadcrumbs will just show:
Home / Marketing
instead of showing the full hierarchy like:
Home / Departments / Marketing
I’ve double-checked the parent-child relationships for the pages in WordPress, and they are definitely set up correctly. Is anyone else experiencing this issue with Yoast SEO breadcrumbs or has an idea of how to fix this?
