Do you have the issue if you use the full link instead of the shortened link?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXVC1SLNQlc

The link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXVC1SLNQlc works, but must be clicked on a second time to take you to Youtube. The current link is https://youtu.be/rXVC1SLNQlc allows the video to reset to the beginning every time. I’ve changed the second item on the page to the link type you suggest so you can see how it works. Hmmm, the link behavior on that page isn’t what WordPress normally does. If you click a YouTube link that isn’t an embedded video, you’re supposed to just get sent to YouTube.

This problem may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to deactivate all plugins and switch to the default Twenty Twenty-Three theme. If the problem goes away, re-activate them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to deactivate all plugins and change the theme for you while you’re still logged in without affecting normal visitors to your site.

You were right! I recently installed a plugin “Responsive Lightbox & Gallery“. When I deactivated it, Youtube worked correctly again. Thanks you James Huff!
