Hi,
Thank you again for a great plugin!
Let’s say that the service that I offer is one-to-one online classes that are given over e.g. Google Meet.
Currently, when I receive a booking, I then also have to do the following:
- I head to , click “New Meeting”, click “Create a meeting for later” and then copy the URL.
- I paste that URL into a second email that I then send to the customer (in addition to the confirmation email that they have already received after checking out).
- I paste that same URL into my order on the backend so that it will conveniently appear for me in my synced Google Calendar.
By using the Google Calendar API, it feels like it should be possible to automate this such that:
- The checkout confirmation email itself includes an auto-generated Google Meet URL (of which the person associated with the WordPress admin email address is considered the host of the meeting).
- That same URL is included in the order details on the backend such that it will appear in my Google Calendar automatically with the other details of the booking.
Is this currently possible?
Thank you for your help! 🙂
