403 error when accessing /wp-admin or /wp-login **only** from Windows365 virtual server

[ad_1]

This problem is vexing me. Here are the facts:

I am hosted at Dreamhost.

I have 4 wordpress installs on 4 different domains at Dreamhost.

The sites themselves are perfectly accessible.

I cannot access /wp-admin or /wp-login on any of the sites from my virtual machine hosted in the microsoft cloud (Windows365).

I can access /wp-admin and wp-login perfectly fine from any other machine I try, on any other network.

From my VM I \*\*can\*\* access /wp-admin and /wp-login pages of wordpress installs I have on other, non Dreamhost hosts.

On my VM, it isn’t a browser issue – I have tried on Opera and Edge, and I installed Firefox clean to test there too, no love.

I have tried various online troubleshooting steps, including clearing my cache and verifying file and directory permissions, and deleting (and then readding) .htaccess.

Anyone have any idea what my next steps could be?
