I’ve started learning wordpress recently and installed twenty twenty four theme, created a child theme out of it. I’ve not installed any page builder yet and am using blocks to create custom pages. When I created the home page, wordpress took every page template (Page with no title, Page with sidebar, Page with wide image) and created kind of base template and set it.
Now when I want to create the inner page custom template (because I want to use a different header) it doesn’t work. I want my inner page header to be different from the home page one and the content on every inner page would be different too.
Tried different options but i can not separate the home page/inner page template differently. I created one inner page template and used it for inner pages (About us, Contact us etc). Every time i change something on the About page it changes on the contact page as well however, if i use home page template for the inner pages, It works properly but i want different header.

I am a little confused about what is going on, but it sounds like something related to page templates and template parts. If you use the same header template part for all of your page templates then when you update one page template it will update everywhere. If you want to change the header for a specific template I would open that template, remove the template part and add a new header. You can then make the new header a template part so you can use it for additional page templates.
