A way to know which plugins are in use

I’ll explain the situation that happens to me sometimes: a customer contacts me to do some maintenance or fix some things on his site. It happens to see 40/50 plugins installed…is there a quick and easy way to understand which of these plugins is really in use on the site and which are simply installed and not used?
