So it’s been a while since I’ve used wordpress, I used to be a webdev for a while and would build wordpress sites locally and deploy live but I can’t be bothered setting all that up again as I’ve mostly forgotten it anyway.
So I wanted to set a new site up, basically a portfolio, very simple. I didn’t realise [wp.com]) and [wp.org]) are different. I paid for a personal plan on [wp.com]) assuming it was just wordpress with a built in hosting service only to find out it’s more like a hosting service with built in wordpress with huge limitations.
I tried a few themes and most of them aren’t even responsive?!
So what are my options, go to another hoster who can setup wordpress automatically and pay *again* to have it moved to their servers? or go through the hassle of setting up wp locally and figuring out how to deploy again?
