Accidentally changed domain name and lost access to WP-Admin

[ad_1]

To provide more context: I purchased a new domain that I would like to switch my current domain over to. I thought it was as easy as purchasing the domain through my host (www.name.com) and pointing it to it via WordPress settings. However; once I’ve done this I no longer have access to Wp-Admin.

I tried to access cPanel to change the information, as what I’ve read online is as simple as pointing one of the files back to the previous url. However, with the WordPress hosting tier I’m paying for, Name.com does not provide access to cPanel.

I contacted their support, and they said they are not able to update customer information or cPanel information so I am at a loss of what to do here.

Any suggestions would be appreciated! I tried to log in to my website via myurl.com/cpanel but that doesn’t seem to work.
