Admin pword stupidity question

[ad_1]

So I went to install WP v6.3 using Softaculous on one of my hosts and noticed that the system I use for admin pwords is no longer considered strong. I got rejected at 78/100 (requires 85/100).

I use a 12 character mix comprised of numbers, cap letters, non cap letters, and 3 special characters. No actual words. It is a system that changes between web sites in a way that is easy for me to apply and remember. 78/100

I got curious:

ReallyWeakPW#123 = 100/100

P@$$word#12345 = 91/100

ComeOnIn12345! = 91/100

password1234567890 = 93/100

So basically, the strength estimator in Softaculous really just counts characters?

Any way to override this requirement, because my system is more secure despite the length difference?
