Advice for rebuilding site without loosing Woo commerce data

[ad_1]

We have a site running atm with Woocommerce, it’s running a theme from a few years back and is a little bogged down with plugins. I’d like to rebuild the whole thing with Elementor but I can’t have to much down time for the store and I’d need to make sure the Woocommerce data for users and orders etc remains intact. Does anyone have any advice on the best way to approach this?

  1. Clone the site, strip out all the junk, and build your new one. When ready to launch the new one export all the woocommecrce-related fields in the database form the old site and import those into the new site. You will have your new design and all the most recent orders, etc. Launch.

Elementor + WOO is nice combo. Capable to produce a lot of problems.

Do not go that route, my friend. Sooner or later you’ll hit the wall, dead end.

Just clone site, clean it. Relaunch.

I would use duplicator and localwp. For site editing GeneratePress/GenerateBlocks or if you prefer page builder breakdance. Both have WOO integration.
