Thank you for reaching out! When using a coupon code that is linked to an affiliate, whenever the coupon code is used on checkout, the linked affiliate will be rewarded a commission. This happens regardless of affiliate usage.
Using a coupon code will not generate a referral visit, thus no tracking cookie will be set. Referral visits and associated tracking cookies are only generated when using referral links.
