All pages information disappear after reactivate the WordPress

[ad_1]

If this is a Google Cloud server (ie your own VPS) as you say, then there’s no cPanel or even backup… unless you specifically install the control panel or configure a backup system yourself. What’s more, cloud servers are generally SELF-MANAGED… so good luck receiving help from Google (or any other cloud server provider, for that matter) to get your server running or recover lost data.

I hope you don’t take this the wrong way… but if you’re not very good at managing servers, then don’t use a self-managed cloud server. Use a traditional shared hosting service, or if you want better performance and even less technical headaches, use a managed WordPress hosting provider.

I have created a web page [dmain] on Google Cloud using WordPress plugin.

What’s the name of this WordPress plugin?

After checking the Google cloud dashboard, it is found that the VM seems stopped and I tried to resume the page by reactivate the WordPress plugin under Google Cloud dashboard.

A WordPress plugin works on a WordPress site and is managed from the WordPress dashboard. There’s no WordPress plugin inside the Google Cloud dashboard.

So it seems you’re using something else, and not a WordPress plugin.

My guess (and it’s merely a guess) is that you may have used something like the Bitnami WordPress appliance for Google Cloud. This is not a WordPress plugin. It’s also not built or supported by the WordPress team.

However, after reactivating the WordPress plugin, it assigned me with a new URL link (http://[IP address]/) but all my page information created before has gone and only a blank web page is left. In viewing of the current situation, would you please tell me how I can restore my web page information?

It seems whatever you did to “reactivate the WordPress plugin” (whatever this tool is) created a new website, rather than “reactivate” the existing site. Perhaps it even rebuilt the entire virtual machine.

If this is so, then your previous site may have been lost forever. But I have no way of verifying this, so please don’t take this as a final conclusion.
