Im using portfolios instead of blogs to post content and I can customize the slug from /portfolio-items to /portfolio. However, I’d like to customize it futher to use the %portfoliocategory% before the portfolio item.
For example, instead of
>>website.com/portfolio/item1
>>website.com/portfolio/item2
I’d like it to be :
>>website.com/portfoliocategory1/item1
>>website.com/portfoliocategory2/item1
I’ve found a plugin for this but it requires a pro license for 1 site only for $150.
Anyone know a simple fix, preferable not in php and without affecting theme and future updates?
