Any way for authors of comments to receive an email notification?

I hate that WordPress allows replies to comments but doesn't notify the commenter that they've received a reply. I've been getting a lot of comments on my blogs these days and I really want to be able to respond to their questions and them actually see it. Any options on plug-ins, etc that will notify the commenter?
