Hi @dazreiello!
Thanks for reaching out, it’s awesome to hear that you’re enjoying using FooGallery!
In regards to your question about creating a “Latest Artwork” gallery section on your homepage, you can definitely do that using our shortcode attributes.
Basically, all you need to do is first, make sure that your gallery is set to “Newest First” sorting option when on the Edit page of that particular gallery, as shown here: https://prnt.sc/5570JYf8eOVM
Once that’s done and you’ve added the gallery to its gallery page, you can then add the gallery shortcode to your homepage and include the limit
attribute, which will limit the number of images displayed.
For example, if you have a gallery with 15 images on another page and you want to display the 5 most recent images on your homepage, you can use this shortcode: [foogallery id="123" limit="5"]
If you want to learn more, we have a handy guide that goes into more detail on shortcode attributes here: https://fooplugins.com/documentation/foogallery/troubleshooting-foogallery/shortcode-attributes/
If you decide to upgrade to a Pro plan, we can offer you more premium support and guidance, and we’ll even place the shortcode for you on your page if you’re having any trouble doing so. You can check out our pricing options here if it’s something you are considering: https://fooplugins.com/foogallery-wordpress-gallery-plugin/#pricing
Hope that helps! Let us know if you have any more questions.
Cheers, Elvis
