Anyone else having DNS record issues with BlueHost??

[ad_1]

Title.

Literally got contacted by one of my clients stating they haven’t been receiving emails for a couple of days. OK. I login to Bluehost to check the MX records and all of the MX records from Google Workspace have been deleted? Including SPF, DKIM records for the domain…

I check with the client, no they haven’t logged in and deleted anything. I do some quick Googles and find a thread on r/googleworkspace about a person who is experiencing the EXACT same problem with Bluehost and that their G Workspace DNS records and Webflow DNS records were removed 2 days ago…

I wanted to see if any Bluehost customers are currently having a similar issue. They swear up and down that Bluehost wasn’t the one that did it, but who did??? Just seems like a fuck up on their part and they don’t want to admit to it.

  1. We certainly understand the importance of functional email. BlueHost will not make changes to any DNS records without first validating ownership of the account and confirming the DNS records that need to be added or removed.

We can assist with updating your DNS records and looking into this issue further, if you could reach out to through X (formally known as Twitter) or on FaceBook. When you contact us please let them know we sent you from Reddit.
