This is happening because WP 6.1 has changed how buttons are created on a page and we had to make some changes to support these new implementations. You do not need to re-create the buttons, you just need to trigger a re-save of the page to get the new HTML/CSS generated by WP 6.1 and all should be fixed automatically.
It is an unfortunate step, but WP 6.1 has changed so much behind the scenes it would be virtually impossible to make this transition “smoother”.
