Hi, I’m fairly new to WordPress. Coming in from Webflow. From what I understand, a website built with Gutenberg blocks has a higher chance of being faster than one built with a page builder like Elementor. Plus it outputs semantic, clean code as far as I understand. I checked out some tutorials on Cwicly and it seems very close to Webflow (you can add custom classes, has a built in integration with ACF pro). So I wanted to know if anyone has used Cwicly or any other modern Gutenberg builders? How is the experience compared to Elementor/Oxygen. Which one should I choose for maximum flexibility and performance?

Have not used Cwicly but at first glance it looks a lot like GeneratePress + GenerateBlocks but with more bells and whistles. I’m partial to GeneratePress/Blocks to enhance Gutenberg since they allow tons of flexibility to build sites that are as complex as you want while keeping your site fast. I’m as much a fan of all the things that haven’t been built in to GeneratePress’ core as those that have. It gives you the flexibility to layer in whatever you want while keeping the base of your site incredibly lean (without the bloat of a page builder).
Oxygen outputs clean code and is fast, all my sites get 95+ on mobile.
You can’t compare Oxygen to Elementor/other page builders.
Tried everything but I continue to use Elementor because it save me so much time compare to other solutions.
My homepage loads in under 500ms, because I have it optimized properly.
Then with Cloudflare fullpage cache my HTML is cached on edge server, so from visitor perspective they’re basically loading a static site.
