Anyone worried about AI putting us out of work?

[ad_1]

I run my own small web-firm and build/host for small business and have a pretty good client base as it stands (been doing it for almost 8 years now)

I’m wondering if anyone else like me as developers are worried about the near-future of AI just doing all of the work for the client, instead of coming to a developer.

I can’t be the only one…right?

  1. How is business? The place I work there’s no work I’m thinking of going on up work

  2. How is AI going to help you be more productive is the real question here.

  3. Nope, AI is good as a co-pilot for developers and not for non-developers who couldn’t tell the difference between JavaScript and Java.

Developers are still needed to look at the code AI generates to make sure it’s legit and not based on faulty training models. I believe AI will make developers more efficient and not eliminate their position

  4. Use AI as a co-developer, writing assistant, project planning tool. Sure, it will get smarter but it will need guidance when it comes to producing creative endeavors.

  5. The goal of AI is not to achieve something bigger on its own. Instead, it is people who strive to achieve their own ambitious goals by creating and advancing AI technology. The intention is not for AI to claim supremacy, but rather for humans to utilize it wisely as a helpful tool that can provide guidance and continually enhance its knowledge base.
