Appointments plugin for a specific use case

[ad_1]

Hi! I’ve been looking at different appointment plugins, I’ve looked at some posts in this subreddit but I haven’t found one that’s at least marketed for the specific use case I have in mind.

The website I’ll be creating will be sort of a **directory of specialists** that clients can look through and **pick one** and **book an appointment** with them so I’ll need the plugin to be able to **have different calendars for different specialists**.

**I imagine the client’s journey like this**: they on the website, looks at the different specialists available for his problem, clicks on one of those people’s pages and there is a calendar with free slots to book.

It would be a bonus if the specialists using the website **have their own space where they can manage their bookings** and look at the appointments they have that has a **good UX design**. I guess the other option would be for them to have restricted access to WP in order to see and manage bookings (as I see is the case with Booking Calendar).

**It would be great if it also has:**
\- sync with Google Calendar or other personal calendar apps
\- ability to add different types of appointments
\- send reminders
\- option for online payment
\- recurring bookings

I’ve looked at **BookingPress** *(someone in another thread mentioned it was a scam?)*, **Amelia** *(most like what I’m lookign for)*, **Bookly** *(very expensive for my use case I believe, correct me if I’m wrong),* **Simply Schedule Appointments** *(doesn’t seem to do what I’m looking for),* **TidyCal** *(looks like an option but it’s $30 per person, which is a lot for me currently),* **WooCommerce Bookings And Appointments** *(has good features but UI looks outdated),* **Book Like a Boss** *(this one looks awesome but I’m not sure how it would work for my use case).*

I’ve briefly looked at the above mentioned plugins so I’d greatly appreciate it if someone who knows them better than I (haven’t used any of them) could help and explain how they can be used for my case. I would also be grateful for any other suggestions for other plugins or anything related to what I’m trying to create. Thanks!

*Disclaimer: I am a beginner in WordPress, I’m learning so I apologise if my question is naive or if I’m missing something important. I’d appreciate any advice you have!*
