I have ARMember Pro plugin installed on my fairly simple staging website — 150 pages plus/minus total. I am creating a simple free Client Portal login area within my site where I will offer high res images and ratesheets etc. that I don’t want the public to have access to.
When I turn default restrictions on (using Pages taxonomy) or change the settings within the ARMember page widget how I want them — on only 4 pages — 3 screwy things happen to my entire site:
1. Pages that use the Slider Revolution plugin — the images disappear — all that stays are the dots for where each slide was….
2. Pages created with SiteOrigin PageBuilder revert to standard block editor. (this does not effect front end so could live with this if the guy who updates the site never had to change anything.)
3. The page layout choice which is at the bottom of each page — goes back to the defaut theme layout.
Yes, I’ve been back and forth with ARMember tech support — (for 2 weeks now) but there is a large time lag between responses and I am not getting anywhere. Each time I test the Client Portal login with the general settings how I want them and turn on default restrictions — I end up having to go back to each page individually and change the page layout/reintroduce the PageBuilder/and verify Slider Rev is back up and running then update the individually pages.
Anyone using ARMember who has run into a similar conflict issue?
Yes, it was only $79 but should I ditch and try something else?
