Astra submenu – Dissapearing as soon as cursor passes link text?

[ad_1]

Hello Everyone,

I am using Astra and am trying to set up my submenu. On the website I have a submenu for the primary header.

Whenever I hover over the primary option the submenu opens with the intended styling. However, as soon as I pass the final option with the cursor, the submenu closes, even though I am still in the Submenu area as witnessed by the background color of the Submenu.

Does anyone know how I can make the entire submenu hoverable so that the submenu doesn’t close as soon as I move the tiniest bit beyond the final link text or to the left and right?

I tried adding some custom CSS but everything I tried isn’t working/helping.

  1. It sounds like you may need to adjust the CSS of your submenu in order to make it hoverable for the entire area. Here are a few suggestions you can try:

Increase the width of the submenu container: If the width of the submenu container is too narrow, it may be causing the submenu to close when you move the cursor even slightly beyond the final link text. Try increasing the width of the submenu container to see if this resolves the issue.

Adjust the padding and margin of the submenu items: If the padding and margin of the submenu items are too small, it may be causing the submenu to close when you move the cursor even slightly beyond the final link text. Try increasing the padding and margin of the submenu items to create a larger hoverable area.
