Automated Emails in spam, help?

[ad_1]

I have a newer blog and want to have an email subscription list just to notify people of new blog posts.

I am using WordPress and currently have the jetpack plugin that gives me the option to automatically send an email to anyone on my list when I publish my posts. I like the automation of this and that it utilizes my photo header and snippet of the blog post that I already created when I made the post.

These emails are going to spam and Gmail is specifically giving a warning that it contains suspicious links that steal personal information.

I have been researching this for hours and troubleshooting. I have tried different things in wpforms and wp mail smtp but it seems the changes I make on these two plugins are not changing the situation at all. I have updated my DNS to add DMARC.

I’ve tried using a couple other emails subscription sites and plugins but they require I add a physical address to each email and as a blog I am not interested in sharing this with everyone.

I feel like this shouldn’t be this hard so I am hoping someone might have a suggestion on what I am doing wrong or what I am missing.

I am open to switching plugins if needed, just need this to be working already

  1. Does your dns also have an spf record? If so, is it, and your DMARC properly configured? Test with mail-tester.com
