I wanted some help on getting my WordPress/woocommerce website stock to be automatically updated. I currently manually update my stock by going to my suppliers website and checking it against our own which is a very long process.
They do not have API’s so am not able to take that route. One of the suppliers send an excel sheet and I was wondering if I could make it so I’d make a program which checks for the email let’s say everyday and then uses the new stock information in that excel sheet to then update the stock on my website. For the other suppliers, I’ve been told about web scraping but not sure how either of these will really be implemented. From my searching online all I see are plugins that are just trying to sell their product rather than actual help.
