Avada theme changes custom cursive fonts fi into vo

My company’s ad agency is using an Avada theme on WordPress for our new website. We have a custom brand font that is cursive. When a word has fi in it (ex. efficiency), the editor is auto-changing to ov (ex. efovciency).

Is there a way to correct this?
