Avada theme: how to reduce height of a header container? please help

[ad_1]

Hi guys!

I hope that this is the right place to ask such a question =) maybe somebody can help me I hope

I couldn’t find a solution for my problem on the internet, hope that someone knows how to deal with it:

I am using Avada theme. Experimenting with the header and menus. What I would like to do is to use two containers one under the other. The first one (№1 on the screenshot) has to contain all the typical elements like the brand logo, menu and contacts. The second container one (№2 on the screenshot) which is right below the first one has to be just a separator between the header and the body of the website and has to be really thin in comparison to the first container.

The problem is, that whenever I try to change the height size of the separator container (№2 on the screenshot) it just cannot be reduced less than «0» value. If I try to enter -10, -50 or anything below 0, containers just don’t react to that and the sizes of the container on the live builder just don’t change.

Here are the values Im trying to change:

Is there any solution or probably a different instrument to achieve the effect I would like to apply?

Thanks in advance!
