Would love to have some advice about potential problems with our WordPress website’s theme. On some “pages” (actually “services”) Yoast is telling me that my keyword is not in the first paragraph, telling me the page has zero words, and has no internal links. This is incorrect. At first I thought it was simply a glitch with Yoast reading the page. But recently started trying RankMath on our staging site and it is also giving me errors that are not correct: no internal or external links, and keyword density of 0.

My question is then, are SEO plug-ins just finicky sometimes or is my theme making it difficult for them (and possibly Google) to read, or both?
I know the theme is causing other problems (some image alt text is either being substituted or not showing at all). This theme has been a headache since day one and I am slowly working through issues as I find them.
