beat option for Client Portal for Elementor

[ad_1]

We are looking to upgrade our existing website ( made in Wix Editor X ). We making this move based on a few factors but mainly cost and expansion. I’m looking at the best way to implement a customer portal. Accounts would be generated by myself, and for users to set their own password. The portal needs to have a way to send messages/enquiries, upload/download certificates, invoices, quotations etc. What’s are my options?

  1. You have 1,000 options. The right one depends on skill level, budget, number of clients etc.

Elementor is like the gatekeeper of wordpress. Anyone with no idea what they’re doing seems to land on Elementor. If you want to do yourself a favour, start by not using elementor (or divi). Generatepress, kadence, astra, bricks, breakdance, oxygen and many more are better.

Then you can get a membership plugin like ultimate member, or memberpress for members. Pro: cheaper, all in one site. Con: all on your site so you’re 100% responsible to protect data, if you send a lot of email you’ll need SMTP minimum, or a mailer like sendinblue.

Or integrate with a CRM like activecampaign. Pro: more secure, a lot built in (like email/followups), can store 1000s clients. Con: may get pricey if you need a lot of customisation.

Or you can build it all yourself with a good theme, Advance Custom Fields, a permissions plugin. Pro: You get 100% what you want. Con: You have to build/maintain it.

Or a blend of the three, building what you can, plugins for what you can’t, and integrations for some of it (e.g. mailer).
