Best clean themes to create a child theme from?

I’m using Divi right now. And although it’s ok, there’s still a lot of CSS customization I have to do. The site has started to become difficult to maintain.

I figure, I might as well create a child theme from a simple, clean theme and do it.

What are some minimal, non-bloated themes that I can create a child theme from?
