I want to state up front I posted this on the WebDev subreddit, and they said to post it here, so I am not trying to spam forums, but was basically directed to repost it in a better place where I could probably get the answers / advice / guidance / experienced users that I am looking for.
So, I am building a Blog / eCom website in WP. I am not a coder, though I can edit / tweak setting in code with basic guidance / directions.
I want to setup the following membership monetization of my website:
1. Have like 5 member only sections on my website (i.e. Kids Corner, Business Resources, Creative (template libraries for Photoshop / Premier / Canva / etc…)
2. Auto manages when payments fail notices, and cancels membership after XX weeks with XX failed payment attempts
3. Handles Password management from setup to resetting
4. Options for further security like registering 3 devices per account (laptop, phone, tablet). This is to help against password sharing. I heard some have IP locking, but if customers are like me I have VPN on 100% of the time, which can give me a different IP each time I login into my VPN.
5. Backend stats, auto notifications with configurable triggers to give to our accounts manager at our company auto heads up of challenges, customer issues, etc…,
6. Each membership section will have 2-3 Tiers that control how many digital content items can be downloaded (but all have unlimited online viewing for all embedded Flip Books, Articles, and Videos)….so an example might be something like this…..
* Tier 1 to single membership area = $3.99 a month can download 15 items a week
* Tier 2 to single membership are = $5 a month can download 30 items a week
* Tier 3 to single membership area= $15 a month can download 100 items a week
* Tier 4 to ALL membership areas= $25 a month God Tier that can access all 5 member sections and download 500 items a week (100 from each section), plus access to a special Elite member area (probably with some configured download weekly cap)
What have you found (and hopefully this is not a hire a coder to build it solution) have you used, know of, like……..or ones you hate, everyone should stay away from, etc…… plugin / service solution?
