I have been developing on **WAMPServer** and it has worked well for almost a decade. But, I am aware that web development technology changes fairly rapidly and what was true in a tutorial or blog post a year ago may not be true today.
*I’m not sure if requests for tutorial video recommendations are verbotten here or not, but I don’t see that listed anywhere in the rules so here goes.*
[WordPress Creators on YouTube])I have followed many [great WordPress youtubers]) (*Darrel Wilson, WP Tuts (Paul), WP Eagle, WP Learning Lab (Bjorn),* [LearnWebCode]*, Tyler Moore*, [*Traversy Media*]), [Nayyar Shaikh]), etc.) who create excellent step-by-step instructional tutorials, but none that I have found address the following use case:
**Creating and testing a Contact form on WAMPServer in a local dev environment, taking into consideration post-2022 issues with SMTP and SSL on localhost.**
A contributor in another post recommended Local by Flywheel which I plan to investigate, but this question is about more of a hands on approach, rather than a “done-for-you”.
Thanks for any help!
