Block a webpage from view unless you’re a patron

[ad_1]

hi guys!

I’m helping a friend out with her page, but I’m stumped on this part.
Basically I’m using godaddy c-panel with wordpress, but there’s one page in the menu that is not wordpress but still hosted by the same godaddy host I’m paying for.
However she only wants people who are patrons to be able to access this webpage.

What I’m stumped on, is the resources for this page need to be uploaded to the godaddy c-panel, not wordpress. I’m sure thats simple enough, but haven’t really tried it. I thought it would be as simple as adding a folder within public\_html, then go to website.com/folder\_name. However I just get a wordpress 404 error.

What I’d like to do, but is beyond my current knowledge is create a link to a non-wordpress page where I have a webpage fully written already. But I want people to only be able to access that webpage if they’re patrons. I will have a seperate page similarly setup for non-patrons but with ads and less updates on that page.

However since this secondary webpage is using an engine that will not work with wordpress I’d need some method to block any content from loading on that webpage if they’re not logged in with wordpress, which might be impossible.

It might be possible if I could somehow stick the html file within a wordpress page without using an iframe and breaking mobile optimization, but I’m not really sure how to do that, or access the file path (images, scripts, etc) if I did find a way to do this.

Thanks in advance!
