Bricks Builder – Speed Showcase/WooCommerce Builds?

[ad_1]

I’m in the middle of a complex build with Elementor, but I am extremely performance minded. I wrote the guide on optimizing Elementor, and I get good enough performance with it, but when I add WooCommerce to the mix, I’m left desiring a little bit more speed.

Does anyone have any highly optimized Bricks sites they would be willing to showcase? Preferable if it is a WooCommerce store as well. I’d just like to see how fast Bricks can get, particularly in a WooCommerce build.

  1. Stick with Elementor IMO. It’s my favorite builder, so admittedly I’m biased.

Here’s my 67 page speed optimization guide. [These]) were my sites desktop and mobile page speed scores when I had the site up. I had 90(yep, 90) plugins active. The site was a Woocommerce + Elementor site.

If you follow my guide, I guarantee your site will be ultra performant. The hosting section in there is extremely important, a host can have up to a 20-30 point impact on your site’s speed tests. If you’re on shared hosting, ditch it and get a VPS. I listed my preferred provider in the guide, and I’ve tested every single VPS on vpsbenchmarks.com. You won’t find a faster VPS. Plus they are really cheap for what you get compared to any other provider as far as VPS hardware resources go.

I spent about 1,500 hours optimizing the living fuck out of my site, it was my pet project during COVID. Everything in the guide is a result of that research. I mayyyy be a bit of a optimization freak. Hope it helps!

Edit: I threw the backup of my site on instawp’s temp hosting in case anyone is interested in seeing my site’s speed:

InstaWP’s hosting provider is definitely not as fast as mine was. The site will be slower than it was on my hosting provider since I can’t do any server side optimizations on InstaWP, but it will still test pretty well on GTMetrix and Page Speed insights.
