Bug, or user-error?

[ad_1]

Not sure if my question is allowed, but I am using wordpress for the first time, and I am unsure of what to do next or how to resolve my issue.

**My Issue:**
When I click the “edit site” button, it changes \*all\* of my pages (about, blog, gallery, services) to whatever I change the page I am working on to. So, if I am changing my about page content via “edit site” button, when I go into “view site” mode, all of my pages (except for “home”) on display the content/web page of the page I just edited and saved changes to. The url will still say /about, /blog, etc. so it truly is overriding the web page content. However, whenever I use the “edit” button instead of the “edit site” button for a page I am viewing, the content is entirely different (what it’s supposed to be, but it doesn’t actually save the changes). But when i go into ‘view site’ mode again, it displays the wrong and overriding content still. I tried to customize the text on the navbar link buttons, not sure if that had an effect here creating a bug?
At this point, I almost want to create a new email and make a whole new account because I cannot get past this error.
