Caching and Streaming YouTube Live

[ad_1]

Hey all! First time poster long time fan, I’ve been helping a church with streaming their service on YouTube Live and over to their WordPress site. I’ve noticed some issues with WordPress wanting to cache data and have cache empty apps but wanted to others have found apps or things that work well with this. I’ve been using the app **YouTube Live** by Andrew Minion though it’s updates don’t always go into or are fast until I empty the cache manually. Anyone else deal with this or have any apps that they like. This church streams both services so it’s about an hour 1/2 turn around for the cache which I’m seeing just needs to be done manually. Love to just hear anyone’s input or plugins they use.

  1. If the service is always at a specific time you can check if the caching plugin that you use has a schedule function for clearing the cache on specific time, if not you can probably create it with the help of chatgpt and the documentation of the caching plugin.

  2. WordPress does not have any built-in caching by default. At least not in the way you’re describing it.

What caching plugin are you using? Also, they’re not called “apps”.
