Can my home page be static and the rest of the site be WordPress?

For speed and reliability, is it a good idea to make a home page static and the remaining pages (blog) WordPress?

Or should I just make the whole site static?

  2. I had a client who needed an age consent page back in the day when there wasn’t a good way to do that in WordPress.
